He's alive today and is there for us because we need His help to get through life. He is there to be a friend, to be a father, to be a brother...someone we can trust and have a relationship with. God, You are my God.

I want to know You more,

For the more I know about You,

The less I seem to know

Even though my life often changes,

You are always the same.

No matter what happens,

You are always there.

You are Stronger than diamonds,

nothing can ever change or break you.

Yet, You more loving than anyone else

could ever be.

In Your amazing love You forgive all my sin,

no matter how great.

You are my father,

Yet more than that,

You are my brother, my friend,

My mentor, my deliverer, my helper,

My instructor, my protector, my strength,

My comfort, my encouragement,

My Savior, and my God.

I could never thank You for everyone,

and everything You have given to me.

Thank You for all the people

You have put in my life

to bring me closer to You.

Thank You for allowing me to have troubles,

for they also brought me closer to to You.

Thank You for all You have done.

I do not deserve any of it.

But You gave it all anyway.

God I know that if I stumble or fall,

You will always be there to catch me

No matter what,
