Meet Pastor Mark:
Pastor Mark Turansky helped found the ministry of Pacific-Islands Bible Church. He has been a musician since the age of 12 and has used his musical talents for many years by leading Praise Bands, recording, concert ministry, and teaching others. One of Pastor Mark's strengths is the ability to relate well and teach all age groups. He has been a Preschool Director, K-6 Afterschool Coordinator, Jr. and Sr. High School Group Leader, as well as teaching and working with adults. Pastor Mark lives in Central Oahu's Mililani community with his wife Cheryl and two daughters. A Kamaaina since 1979, he loves Hawaii's beaches and outdoor recreation.

A Personal Note From Pastor Mark:
I feel that my calling from the Lord is to help those who are part of the Body of Christ stay connected with God. Sometimes those who have been Believers for a while can become stagnant or disillusioned with their faith and they don't know why. From my pulpit ministry to my counseling ministry you will find one theme: Galatians 6: 9 "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." People have described me as being fresh, open and "real." Its my desire to cut through the fat of tradition and rhetoric to the reality of practical daily living with the Lord.
